ALCAM wt Allele Definition

Human ALCAM wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 3q13.1 and is approximately 210 kb in length. This allele, which encodes CD166 antigen protein, is involved in cellular adhesion interactions between T-cells, B-cells, thymocytes and thymic epithelial cells.
