Antispasmotic Agent Definition

Natural or synthetic Antispasmodic Agents (commonly anticholinergic) relieve spasms or cramps of the stomach, intestines, and bladder. These agents often decrease secretions (acid and enzymes) and movements of the stomach and intestine. (NCI04)
