Association of American Cancer Institutes Definition
Comprised of 80 of the leading academic and freestanding cancer research centers in the United States. Almost all of the National Cancer Institute-designated centers are members and the remaining member institutions are academic-based cancer programs that receive NCI support. The AACI's mission combines those of its member institutions and the national cancer program.
