CUL4A wt Allele Definition

Human CUL4A wild-type allele is located within 13q34 and is approximately 56 kb in length. This allele, which encodes cullin-4A protein, is plays a role in the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasome-dependent degradation of target proteins. It is also involved in both repair of ultraviolet light-induced DNA damage and the S-phase DNA damage response.
