Carbohydrate Processing Inhibitor Definition
A class of agents that interfere with the intracellular glycoprotein glycosylation pathway. Intracellular glycosylation of glycoproteins is involved in many cellular processes, including lymphocyte trafficking, immune cell stimulation, embryogenesis, and cancer metastasis. (NCI04)
