MYST3 wt Allele Definition

Human MYST3 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 8p11 and is approximately 121 kb in length. This allele, which encodes histone acetyltransferase MYST3 protein, plays a role in the mediation of both transcription and histone acetylation. Acute myeloid leukemia can be associated with chromosomal aberrations of the gene.
