Manic Fringe Protein Definition
This protein is a member of the fringe family which also includes Radical and Lunatic fringe. They are evolutionarily conserved secreted proteins that participate in the Notch signaling pathway in determining boundaries during segmentation and cell fates during neurogenesis.
