Mylanta Definition
A commercial combination preparation, by Johnson & Johnson-Merck Consumer Pharmaceuticals, containing the antacids aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide. Aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide neutralize stomach acids, thereby raising the pH to reduce intestinal damage by acids.
