Widely expressed human NF-I Genes (CTF/NF-I Family) encode NF-I Proteins that contain a DWA/MH1 domain and bind TTGGCNNNNNGCCAA DNA palindromes in viral and cellular promoters as a homodimeric factor capable of activating transcription and replication. (NCI)
