Nanocantilever Definition
The simplest micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) that is easily machined and mass-produced for probing nanoscale specimens. These devices are often used to explore and characterize the surfaces of biological systems. The motion of the device is recorded and transformed mathematically to provide information about these surface characteristics.
