Preparation H Definition
A brand of combination medications, by Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, used in the treatment of hemorrhoids. Preparation H is used to relieve pain, swelling and pruritis, as well as, to soothe and protect the hemorrhoidal tissue. Preparation H products are formulated as a cream, ointment, cooling gel, suppositories and witch hazel wipes.
