RRM1 wt Allele Definition

Human RRM1 wild-type allele is located in the vicinity of 11p15.5 and is approximately 44 kb in length. This allele, which encodes ribonucleoside-diphosphate reductase large subunit protein, is involved in reduction of ribonucleotides to deoxyribonucleotide precursors for DNA synthesis in dividing cells.
