SH2 Domain Containing Protein-3A Definition
Expressed in placenta, pancreas, kidney, lung, fetal kidney, and fetal lung by human SH2D3A Gene, 76-aa 64-kD adaptor protein SH2 Domain Containing Protein 3A contains a potential SH3 interaction domain. Insulin or EGF induce rapid tyrosine phosphorylation of SH2D3A and increased association with p130-Cas. SH2D3A appears to mediate activation of stress-activated JNK1, but not MAPK1. (NCI)
