Tumor Protein-D52-Like-1 Protein Definition
Expressed in kidney and skin by human TPD52L1 Gene (TPD52 Family), 204-aa 22-kDa Tumor Protein D52-Like 1 exhibits 52% identity to D52, a coiled-coil domain, and PEST domains. D52, D53, and D54 share significant homology, including a coiled-coil domain indicative of protein-protein interactions. TPD52L1 forms homodimers, or heterodimers with other family members. Like D52, TPD52L1 may be involved in calcium-mediated signal transduction and cell proliferation.
